I can use the hot spare to rebuild both fault tolerant arrays. I expect 2X-3X the performance of the U320 in RAID 1 over a single U160. Even, if it is the same performance or slightly better, I have never complained about the boot up of my workstation. The controller installed fine with the drivers from your web site into Win2K Pro. Will I need to do anything else for the SAF-TE features of the SCA Enclosures? I did install the Supermicro GEM drivers for the SCA Enclosures.
That's actually the card that I thought might work also. Too bad because the LSI boards are better than the High Point boards, but if it doesn't work, that doesn't do me any good. They make an OEM version with only 8 ports called the 3720a, but not sure who the oem is. The next challenge is to work out if there's any way to boot from my LSI i card? I do not have a UEFI BIOS, and I am not sure if that's a problem.

All I did was crossflash the HBA Card, update Bios and Firmware and just want to make sure nothing was overlooked before I install Freenas. It is classified as a Driver file, created for Windows 10 by Microsoft. However I cannot see them in the Vista x64 install or under my WHS restore disc...even with the LSI drivers.
